HIGH STAKES TESTING IS NOT REQUIRED IN ANY STATE IN AMERICA.

IF YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD SO YOU HAVE BEEN LIED TO.

IN FACT, PLEASE DO OPT OUT. 

BUT PLEASE KNOW THAT IF YOU DO, YOUR SCHOOL WILL COME AFTER YOU. YOUR COUNTY, YOUR STATE, YOUR GOVERNMENT WILL THREATEN YOU.

THEY WILL SAY THEY’LL PREVENT YOU FROM GRADUATION, THEY’LL HOLD YOU BACK A YEAR, THEY’LL KICK YOU OUT OF THE SCHOOL, WHEN THEY CANNOT ACTUALLY DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. 

STANDARDIZED TESTING HAS BEEN PROVEN TO BE NOT SCIENTIFICALLY BASED AND FAILS TO FOLLOW THE US GOVERNMENT’S OWN DATA ON LEARNING.

STANDARDIZED TESTING IS LITERALLY ONLY FOR CORPORATE INTERESTS SO THEY CAN SHUT DOWN THE SCHOOLS THAT DON’T GET HIGHER TESTING SCORES, USUALLY ONES THAT CONTAIN STUDENTS OF COLOR, IMPOVERISHED STUDENTS, AND STUDENTS WHO ARE LEARNING ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE. THAT SHIT IS RACIST, AND THE ONLY POINT OF IT IS TO MAKE KIDS DROP OUT OF SCHOOL SO THEY CAN GO TO WORK IN THE FACTORIES.

S*** IS ABOUT TO GO DOWN, PEOPLE. IN THE NEXT YEAR OR TWO, THERE WILL BE MASS OPT-OUTS, AND THERE ARE GOING TO BE SOME CONSEQUENCES. ARRESTS ARE GOING TO BE MADE TO GET THE EDUCATION THAT OUR ELDERS HAD BACK TO OUR GENERATION. PEOPLE WILL SACRIFICE THEIR ENTIRE LIVES FOR THIS CAUSE, SO YOU ALL BETTER MAKE IT WORTHWHILE.

Honestly, you’re not serious, are you? How in the hell do corporations shut down schools? They have absolutely no jurisdiction over this! The tests aren’t there to promote racism, that’s the second biggest load of bull that I’ve ever heard! They’re there so you can prove your intelligence.

If you want to be a rebel, try to petition for an alternative method of assessment instead of just screwing yourselves over. Yeah, sure it isn’t Required, but NOT taking them will affect you for the rest of your life. Colleges aren’t going to accept you, and getting jobs will be much harder. There are far better ways to support your cause than self-destructing.

I know that this type of test isn’t the best for everyone. They’ve never been a problem for me, but I can’t imagine the type of mental strain it could put on people. But instead of just flat out refusing to take them, FIND AN ALTERNATIVE! If you think the system is bunk, do something that will actually HELP YOUR CAUSE! Sure, something like this could start a movement, but is it really worth it?
